Hunter Zank

The Southern Voice Band

The Southern Voice Band

Hunter Zank is a third-generation singer-songwriter and performer carrying on a powerful family music legacy that began with his grandparents, Wayne Zank, Sr. and Dona Zank, founders of Honey & the Hoosiers.
Following in their footsteps, his uncle Tom Zank formed Hoosier Highway with bassist Curtis Durham, touring nationwide for over a decade. Immersed in music from an early age, Hunter sharpened his craft on rhythm and acoustic guitar while developing his signature sound and songwriting style.
After joining Hoosier Highway and later launching Whiskey Thomas, Hunter continued building momentum with his debut EP, 1952, recorded in Nashville and released in 2023. He is currently working on new material to be released, while lighting up stages with the Tritt/McGraw Tribute Band alongside Tom and Curt.
With deep roots, authentic storytelling, and electrifying performances, Hunter Zank represents the next generation of country music.

David Jones

The Southern Voice Band

David Jones

David Jones is a country guitarist from Northwest Indiana, who discovered his passion at age 13. Mostly self-taught, he refined his technique through classical training with Mario Moreno and mentorship from Tom Zank.
After starting in metal bands, David transitioned to country, performing across the region in several bands, including Steel Country, Whiskey Thomas and later becoming lead guitarist for Nate Venturelli in 2024, as well as Acoustic guitarist for up and coming country vocalist, Ashlyn.
His influences include Brent Mason, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley, Roy Clark, Zach Top, Tom Zank, and Chuck Ward.
In 2025, David was named “Guitarist of the Year” at the Josie Music Awards held at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee— a milestone moment in his growing career.
In 2026 he joined forces once again with his mentor Tom Zank to pay homage to two country powerhouses, Travis Tritt & Tim McGraw in the Tritt/McGraw Tribute Band as Lead Guitarist.

Kevin Cox

David Jones

Coming from a family of Nashville touring musicians, Kevin Cox caught the music bug early. After receiving his first drum set at age 10, he dove into his record collection and taught himself to play by ear. With a little help from a friend, he also picked up guitar and bass, becoming a versatile multi-instrumentalist. From there, Kevin went on to perform with numerous cover bands spanning rock, pop, country, and metal. Currently playing guitar for the band Steel Country.
Kevin has played with touring acts, opening for national recording artists and headlining shows across the region. His wide-ranging influences include Mötley Crüe, Journey, The Black Crowes, Slipknot, Prince, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert and Midland - a blend that shapes his dynamic, high-energy sound and performance style.
In 2026, Kevin joined the Tritt/McGraw Tribute Band, bringing his experience, versatility, and passion for live performance to the stage as he continues to connect with audiences and honor country music’s biggest hits playing Bass and Acoustic Guitars.

Storm Lowden

Storm Lowden’s passion for music began at just four years old, when he started turning everyday objects into drumsticks. Although he didn’t receive his first real drum set until sixth grade, his musical journey began earlier in school band as a concert saxophonist. Once he transitioned to drums, there was no turning back.
From seventh grade through his senior year, Storm played drums in band and marched in high school, mastering a wide range of percussion instruments—including bass drum, snare, quads, marimba, xylophone, and timpani. After graduating, he began playing with friends and gained his first paid performance experience with the band Barcode, followed by Euphoria.
His musical path truly found its home when he joined Whiskey Thomas. Though he wasn’t originally drawn to country music, Storm quickly fell in love with its soul and storytelling. A longtime metal and grunge fan, his influences range from Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to Periphery, Animals as Leaders, Creed and Pearl Jam—along with icons like Michael Jackson and James Brown.
With a deep appreciation for all styles of music, Storm brings high energy, explosive power, and undeniable passion to every performance. Alongside his bandmates in Whiskey Thomas, he also helped bring the Tritt/McGraw Tribute Band to life, continuing to share his love for music with audiences everywhere.
